Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Renter account and associated personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email support@renterplatform.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
- Send the request from the email address linked to your Renter account.
- If you can’t access that email, include your account name and any verification details we request to confirm ownership.
What will be deleted
- Account profile information (name, email, profile details)
- Listings you created (unless retention is required for legal reasons)
- Messages and conversation history (where legally allowed)
- Saved locations and preferences
- Uploaded images that are not required to be retained
What may be retained
Certain transactional and compliance records (for example, payment records, dispute logs, chargebacks, tax or legal compliance data) may be retained for required legal or accounting periods. When retention is required, we restrict access and store only what’s necessary.
Processing time
Most requests are completed within 7–14 business days after we verify account ownership.
